my 1972 datsun 1200 ute project. $3500 is what it has cost me for just the panels, will come with all reciepts, im loosing money at this price but its just sittin there in the shed doing nothing. every aftermarket panel that you can buy is there. people on this site would obviously understand how much just the panels alone cost me. ive remade the rear inner gaurd, just needs a bit of playing aroung with and lining up and weld the rear 1/4 back on then bolt everything else together. engine mounts and trans tunnel have been cut out as i was putting a 13b engine in it but ended up putting the 13b back in my rx7 and then sold. i have a custom made 13b rotary front engine mount with brand new bushes(just needs a bracket made from the crossmember and 13b will bolt in) and gearbox mount for 13b. everything is there to put it back together plus extras. comes with stock A12 motor and gearbox not in the car. and sports exhaust for that motor. wheels with good tyres. new tail lights with chrome surrounds. go to this link for pictures. please email me or phone as i dont get on this website much. email: shorty_smith_92@hotmail.com , phone: 0405811724 , really dont want to sell it but its just in the way and more use to someone else.

thanks mate. yer i think it might take a while, only that high because of how much money ive spend on panels and little things and work that has been done to it. will be a good car when its done. if only i had the time and money to finish it

for sale. ive had a good look at my ute, and have come to the decision that it has to go as i dont have the time or money to spend on it.
i bought this car as a project with quite a bit of rust, and have got pretty much every aftermarket panel that is availabe. my plans were to put a 13b rotary into it because i have an rx7 also which i was going to use the motor from.
i have engine and gearbox mounts for the 13b that i purchased off of ebay which will also be included in the sale.
has disc brake front end, but will also come with datsun stanza struts with brakes. will come with 12a engine and gearbox.

new panels ( all aftermarket )
-front apron
-radiatior support
-bonnet
-front left and right gaurds
-left and right doors
-left and right sill panels (right one already installed)
-left and right rear 1/4 panels
-left and right tail light towers
-tailgate
-beaver panel
-new chrome tail light

all parts are there and sitting on the car but have not welded the rear panels on or bolted everything on as it needs a bit of playing around to make the inner wheel arch but i have re made the whole wheel arch on both sides, just needs a little modifications.

will be a very nice car when it is finished but as i said i dont have the time and money to do what i want with it.

still has dash, seats,all windows. very good chrome bumper. good looking wheels with good tyres.
1 and a half or two inch lowering blocks are in it. (not 100% sure)

thanks for the help. it has a oil cooler up the top, but i think i might put another seperate oil cooler in. thanks

both of the hoses are on the right hand side of the car. im hoping to find something local, but if i cant i may be interested. just trying to get some ideas of what i can get. thanks

i have a chrome rear bumper for a 81 stanza if you want to arrange getting it picked up from adelaide you can have it for $50.
