I don't think there was ever a proper "manufacturers" entry - however there have been a few privately entered in the hay day.

Datsun / Nissan realy came into the scene with the 1600 (510 Series)

There are alot of modifications that have gone into the Car. The SAfari is a Rally in its own element - A car breaker. WE have gone for a reliability approach and reinforced alot of it and "doubled" up on alot of the parts. I will be posting some pictures of the build soon.

The Car is on its way to Kenya now, with some more modifications to be made there. I will try keep the website updated as regularly as possible.

WE just want to give the big boys a run for their money, in a car built in our back garage!

My team will be attempting the East African Classic Safari Rally in Nov 2009. 6000kms over the roughest and toughest roads seen in rallying.

The car we have prepared is the Datsun B110 Coupe. You must be thinking we are crazy, but there is a method to the madness! In 2007 we did it in a Datsun 260Z (sorry) but we wanted to take something interesting and different this year. So far it is the only 1200 in the 50 crew line up!

This is my second attempt at the event and my drivers first. So we are a pretty novice team taking on the biggest event in the smallest car! WE like a challenge!

I have searched the forum and most comments are that the Ute and Coupe Windscreens a different. Only Sedan and Wagon the same.

I am building rally B110 Coupe. Can someone tell me where I can get a laminate windscreen for the B110 Coupe?

Hi Guys Can anyone shed some light on this.

We in the process of building a A14 - to Rally spec. Can any of you recommend the Head Gasket I can use.

1- for a Standard Bore
2- for an over-bore

And how much I can expect to pay for one and where will I get one.

Thanks for the response "Old-School" ... i am on the otherside of the world! United Kingdom. We are doing a restoration on a B110 Coupe. But for that price I may just fly to AUS! The Datsun parts in Uk don't come cheap! Many thanks for the offer though!
