In the first set of pics the wheels are indeed sigma turbo rims, they were borrowed off the factory sigma turbo that lives in the back yard, and will not be sold with car. 2nd set of pics have the old skyline rims, which do come with the car.

yeh its got a great shell, i spend along time finding the right car to do a converion with, sadly im not in the position to finish it, and the storage costs could be better spent elsewhere. I bought this car from forum member wardat. Im sure the old add will be up here somewhere

Is anyone else on here into large scale RC? This is what has left my datsun sitting in the garage untouched for the last 12 months.

I have a hpi baja 5b ss that takes up all my time and budget, it owes me more money than my daily driver. It currently has a 29cc Zenoah 2 stroke engine with ddm rear dominator exhaust, vertigo billet clutch case and axle extenders, zenoah 6000rpm clutch, turtle racing front and rear shock mounts, gh alloy front shock supports, billet fan cover, 2x hitec digital servos, killer bee pico switch, 5000mah battery, futuba 3pmx radio, outlaw rc filters and springs all round, hostile slicks and mini mx off road tires, outerwares on pull starts air filter and crankcase. It has clocked 71km/h with old engine (radar gun), im still running the new engine in at momet but will try again shortly on tarmac this time.

My newest addition is my 41" cat. boat, it will run a 26cc watercooled zenoah when its done.

Some pics are here

Anyone else into this stuff??

Stick your head up under the dash and look for rust, in the corners. my first sedan had big holes on both sides here, its not seen from the engine bay, and i never noticed until water started dripping on my knee while driving. Also floor pans.

Also look for accident damage, look very close at where the guards bolt up under the bonnet, close to the headlight. Pop your head under the front end and look for cracks where the radius rods mount to the chassis, and any evidence of repairs. Im a spraypainter and any car that 40 or so years old would have been in a smash repairs at some point in its life.
