Guess what, Malaysians think Malaysians are made of money too! Blame it on the currency rate. LOL..
Just a few spares lying around.. Here you go...savour....and take them away! :) Bullet: http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg85/ikhwanayub/BFMir2.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg85/ikhwanayub/BFMir1.jpg No 2: http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg85/ikhwanayub/FenderMir2.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg85/ikhwanayub/FenderMir1.jpg Spots: http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg85/ikhwanayub/Spots1.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg85/ikhwanayub/Spots2.jpg

Thanks for the info Benny! Appreciate it. But i've made up my mind to go for the DGV.. In fact, I've found a 32 DGV with 32/32 barrels.. Came off an Escort 1300GT..
Now looking to rebuild it and an air filter..

Great to know that! I've joined the right forum and met the right guy!
thanks for the IDF offer Akina! but i want to go for the DGV or DCNF..buzz me if u got any.. anyway, while waiting for the weber to pop up, i was wondering how much would it cost me to buy from u only: 1. the rebuild kit (as shown in 320327533801 in ebay) 2. jetted for 1.3L 3. a decent air cleaner or maybe used K&Ns can u give me the price for each DGV and DCNF? Thanks! A local seller got this: http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr207/jasonchow/DSC00447.jpg http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr207/jasonchow/DSC00448.jpg http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr207/jasonchow/DSC00449.jpg I know that I have to check the butterflies among other things. Is there an easy way for me to take a look inside -- the floats especially? Can I just unscrew the four main ones and have the top removed?

Yea..IDFs are pretty cool as well and very rare here in Malaysia but the currency rates will burn a hole in my pocket.. AUD450 = RM1000++.. it's 2.3 now i think.. Anyway, installing them its not a problem here.. The problem is actually getting them! hehehe..I saw a DGV the other day on ebay for AUD50..it was a steal coz ppl are selling those for approx AUD150 here in Malaysia.. but the seller is not willing to ship it over.. :(
Well in that case, Akina, I think i'd stick to the weber in my 1st post -- Weber DGV 32/36 or maybe a DCNF 36 which pops up with a good price.. A balance of fuel economy and performance sounds good to me.. Akina, if u bump into any DGVs or DCNFs, do let me know. I might need ur favour to get it jetted for a 1.3L and an air cleaner to go along with it before u ship it over.. Thanks a lot Akina!

Thanks Akina! But that's well over budget... dont mention the shipping cost..hehe..
u guys know what's the cost to ship a weber to malaysia? also, after talking to some escort and datsun fans here in malaysia, they told me to go for a DCNF 36 instead of DGV...but the thing is, it bothers me that when i google for DCNF 36, not many stuff came up but there were a lot of stuff on DCNF 40...what do u guys think? |
