Probably not many. I can tell you there's at least one here in New Jersey and it's in my
garage :^)

For the past thirty years I've used Castrol 10-40 in the winter and Castrol 20-50 in the summer. Oil changed every
3000 miles. No problems.

Bottle of $30 oil?? That sure is some expensive stuff!

My 72 coupe was stolen in New York city in 1975. The fourteen year old who took it knew how to break the steering lock and hot wire the car but didn't know how to operate a manual
transmission! As a result, the perpetrator got the attention of the police when jerking around in traffic. I got the car back within 24 hours with minimal damage. The police said the odds
of getting a stolen car back in good condition in NYC was one in a million. Needed a new vent window, ignition lock and spare tire cover panel (must have thought I had something of value
hidden under there and ripped it up). I was very lucky. Still have the coupe today. Fully restored and looking good. Bought the coupe new in June of 1972 and will keep it until death do
us part. I have other stories but won't bore everyone with them. I deeply sympathize with that poor old lady.

The Vaseline trick is the official recommended procedure on Land Rover v8s. I used the technique myself on my Range
Rover. Worked perfectly.

I haven't looked behind the vents in my sedan to see how those vents work, but I doubt they're there just for looks. I have been behind the vents in my coupe and they
are definitely functional.

Okay, I made it public. Let me know if it's okay now.

I just tried to post some pictures. Got the following message:

Error: Club has reached its disk space limit! Photo not hosted.

Does this mean we can't add any more pics unless some are deleted?

I wanted to get Mareo salivating with a couple pics of my really
clean 73 sedan.

The sedans have inconspicuous vents. They are located in the rear roof pillars parallel to the drip moulding. They're not used as a styling cue like in the coupe. The pictures of
the sedan on ebay are pretty poor so you really can't make out the vents.

I doubt the lack of bumpers had anything to do with the ute not being available in the US as bumper standards did not apply to trucks
at the time.
