as far as i no the later a12 such as the120ys and later model 1200 utes used a manifold with out a manifold heat box . but thats just going by what waz on my ute

im in australia i had a 85 which had a a12 motor 4 speed box and drum brakes all round

i know its not a 1200 but it was prity kool it was a 1000 2 door white with spoilers mags few other sporty mods.

plus on page 12 of the trading post, in the car collector and vintage part theres a ad for a 1950 morris minor its got 120y gearbox ,1000 motor and gear box for sale separate if ur intrested
