Ute is looking very nice gofa411. move your hazard switch to the other position and see if the indicators works correctly, had the same problem with my previous ute.

I recently started fixing up a few things on the ute, I installed a new reverse switch as mine was not working since I got it, when I press the switch the reverse lights both work but when I install it in the 60a 5 spd gearbox it does not work, there are 2 swtiches available, one lights up when depressed on the switch and the other one when not depressed, tried either with no luck when screwed in. is there suppose to be a spacer of some sort or might something be broken inside ther gearbox. all help greatly appreciated

Hi all, I recently converted to electronic dizzy from the e15 Nissan, problem is when I turn the key (when started runs) it will not fire up, the moment I leave the key to jump back to the on position then it fires, basically seems like it's not giving power to the coil when the starter is running. am I missing something? I have fitted a new ignition now and still the same problem.

i changed both needle and seats, it's still has a miss when idling, but funny thing is it's does not seem to overfeul anymore, i can see the exaust is burning a nice grey white color which is perfect on our feul. so next step i think is a electronic dizzy and coil as this can be the only problem now. funny thing is when you stop it idles smooth for a few seconds then starts sounding like a miss or like its running more on one carb the=an the other.
