I think the fastest I have been was in an auscar around calder a few years back (passenger)...Had numerous fast runs around Symmons with various drivers.....
The most fun I ever had was a tyre testing day with Ed Orydynski before Southern Safari.....

If you had seen some of the things I have you would never speed again...

Just thought you would all like to know that the crusty's truck with all the gear in it was written off this morning in Tassie...

The driver was killed when the truck crashed into a bridge and caught on fire....

No word yet on wether the tour will continue or not....

All right then lets do it......

Those that will be at USA day need to have plenty of flyers and info on windows of cars....

As they say "Money talks, Bullshit walks", lets put our money where our mouth's are and lets drum up some interest!!!!!!

There's no point talking about it and not following through, yes lets meet more often and if you cant make a certain meet wait till the next one....
Maybe we could do the first Sunday of each month?? Its easy to remember....

Ok then.....

I was under the impression that the inner city carparks would be unusable due to Sunday trading, hence the decision to go to Canal street....Turn down next to the AAMI building...

I'm working today but will try to make it...
You never know I might have to get a weather shot for tonights news...

Hello fellow lovers of the finest automobile's every mass produced......

I too agree with the fact that as Sunday trading has begun all the major inner city carparks will be full...

The Canal street "carpark" behind the CH Smith building is extremely visible from the highway and might be worth a try....I have to work that weekend but may still put in an apperance

Can we confirm that we are all happy with this spot......

Hi guys...
Thanks for the concern Dave but everything is cool, just been so busy lately I haven't had time for much else....( I was going to say something smart about having my leg in a cast or something silly like that but thought better of it )

Its about time we met again and I have booked my day off, considering the time available I want everyone on the lookout with copys of Troy's flyers. If you see anything with a Datsun badge slip one under the wiper, scribble the date and place on the bottom...I will try my best to get some up around the local business's with the date aswell..

I did some runs back in march in my ute, stock a12,4 speed with all bits still attached.
15 inch wheels with 195/50's...

1: 20.490 @99.00 kph, reac: 0.772, sixty: 2.705

2: 20.859 @100.57 kph, reac: 1.194, sixty: 2.796

3: 21.022 @98.79 kph, reac: 1.050, sixty: 2.794

I did a fourth run but lost the time slip.....As you can see I was in no hurry to leave the line and I didn't rev it out much past 5000 rpm's.
The purpose of the exercise was to get some "on board" vision for the dragways new advert...
