Just had a blast from the past helping another 120y fan with gearbox questions. So glad this site was here when building it. Thanks all for your support! Stanceworks Feature

white is overheated - lean fuel mix or to much advance on ignition timing?
2 and 3 would seem normal

Been away for ages! As usual we finish a car and dont spend much time in front of a keyboard anymore. Got the chance to really drive/test the car over the past months using it as a course car in a local tarmac rally and out at the goolwa airport. Extremely happy with brakes ( engineer commented on how impressed he was with braking and lane change tests- compared it to a M3 he drove the week earlier.) A little play with bias and now it really stops. Although takes little bit of getting used to four disc brakes and no booster.
Ironing out some kinks now- Rear springs still giving me headaches, reverse eye 1200 coup ones hit chassis rails :( . When i spoke to kings about it they say there not recommended for 120Y sedan- different story to 12 months ago..... Swapped rear shocks for Bilstiens b-46's Awaiting Kaaz 2-way centre (changing diff ratio, 4.11 a little to tall) Designing up Strut tower brace (got the tig welding bug) Added my MK1 Lip ( so many people have them I left it off. Who was a kidding? it looks good so i put it on :)! Got rid of rear muffler ( i was not convinced i liked it but thought it would grow on me. It didnt ) Making up oval style pipe to gain some clearance and with a slip style rear section. Swapped steering wheel over for a Nardi - and added some harness points. In the process now of re wiring main fuse box. I liked the old cool style but the little car cant handle a terratrip, headlights, rotating becons and a uhf all at once. Didnt even think about including relay for light system until i left the servo without headlights trying to find the relay because the fuse was ok ( or so i thought) duuurrrrrr, doesnt have one stoopid!

Loosekid - the dash fascia is from a pb210 sunny coupe
Louix- I contacted Jesse and asked for a quote from tomei. Depending on conversion rate will determine your price :) . I decided to run tomei reytec ecu to ensure smooth running. Nistune is "on paper" capable of running quad throttles but I suggest you contact Pete at PLMS in regards to a quote to do so.
Had the car tuned and made a demon 98rw kw which I'm happy with as a start. The sound is absolutely awesome out of the quads :) .
Now I'm going to learn to drive it , a quick drive through the hills proved the handling is up to it. A little more fine tuning with rear shocks is needed , add another 30hp to the motor and weight loss of 20 kg ( mostly me ) should help.
* tomei quads $2000 approx ecu $800 * going to lose the blue leads swap em with black ones. Also reckon the rear box has gotta go in favor of straight pipe out the back

Have you got the round dash fascia? There's a few mods you have to do to the dash frame to get it to work. Check the thread some pages back there's some info there how I did gauges .
Engineer will be looking at it in a couple of weeks, once I'm happy it's safe lol. Oh and then I gotta pay the bill- so no rush :)
