Hey guys, I currently have 2 Datsun utes for sale....

First 1 has an a14 with 4 speed, extractors, weber 32/36 on top of a ported inlet manifold, electronic distributer and electric fuel pump plus a bunch of other mods....Runs well, has lots of get up and go.

Second Ute is just for parts, has a rusted out shell but has a stanza front end I was planning to stick in my other ute, it has no engine or gearbox in it.

Also have heaps of spare parts to go with them both, including 1 and a half a12 engines, 3 gearboxes including 1x60 series 4 speed, 2 or 3 spare instrument clusters and a bunch of other spares....

It all needs to go, making room for a new project.

Any reasonable offer will be considered.

As title suggests, im looking to purchase a standard round port inlet manifold for my Datsun, new or used, I don't mind.

Are you suggesting that the knocking could be a result of low oil pressure?

My oil pressure sits at about 40psi at low idle and rises to about 70-75psi at a 100kmh cruise speed, not sure if that's what its meant to sit at.

I have checked all the valve clearances, they are spot on, still have not checked the timing though.

Hey guys, got a problem which has me puzzled....

This last 2 weeks my datto ute has developed an inconsistent knock/misfire at very low rpm (roughly 500-800), if I move the idle up to 900+ the knocking goes away as does the missing, acceleration and deceleration is fine as far as I can tell, the knocking seems to cause the misfire as they happen at the exact same time or perhaps its the misfire causing the knocking, but ive checked the spark plugs, dizzy cap needed a clean up, next im planning on changing the coil and leads but im hoping someone here may have an answer to my problem.......im praying its nothing mechanically wrong.......

A14 engine with a A12 head, 60 series 4 speed, extractors, 32/36 weber, electronic dizzy, electric fuel pump, some mild engine and head work......

Altona Meadows/Melbourne, it it the assembly or just the bolt and lock nut?

Hey guys, im in need of another rocker assembly, 1 of my adjustment bolts has threaded, doubt ill be able to get the bolt to easily, so I figured id get the whole shebang =}

Please let me know if you have either the spare bolt and adjustment nut or the whole assembly laying around spare, will happily purchase it off you.

She is a daily driver just recently rebuilt along with a new weber 32/36 and electronic dizzy, mandrel headers etc etc, so kinda bummed such a small thing has pulled her off the road.
