WTB: wanted a14 manifold

Hi everyone
I am needing an a14 oval port intake manifold with or without carby.
I have an a14 I want to test run before I remove it from a car in hopes that it will be a good running engine to swap into my ute, so I don't want to spend huge money in case the engine isn't in good shape.

Let me know what you have and how much you want, I'm in Brisbane
Thanks

I recently did both on my ute, it was actually surpingly easy. About 2 years ago I tried and had a professional try on the same ute but because there was excessive bog around the frame we broke two screens. After I had the window frame taken back to bare metal and repaired properly putting the new screen in was easy.

Tacho into ute makes engine miss

Hi all
Onto the next part of my restoration and I've hit another snag.
The ute runs and drives well as standard (no tacho)
But when I add the tacho I have ( which is from a 1200 coupe) the engine will idle okay but on acceleration will miss fire and splutter badly.
I have wired the tacho by simply running the induction loop between the negative of the coil.
I can't understand why this would be happening because the wire is continuous ( as it's an induction loop)
Any ideas?

I ended up doing silicone ,
It worked quite well. It was a little tricky to get it in the right spot and clean off the excess neatly at the same time but the end result is really good

Hmm okay I'll persevere, the glass fits fine in the channel without the rubber and has a small gap either side where the rubber would fit,
Maybe I should move onto another job for a bit and come back to this I think

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, do you fold the rubber over the bottom edge of the window and press it in, or do I cut it in half and put a piece each side?

Hey thanks for the reply,
Yeah the parts are all Nissan genuine Windows are original from ute.
Okay I'll soap it up and give it a go.

Hi all
I'm trying to fit the quater windows on my ute and I am having a real hard time squeezing the rubber and the glass into the pivoting base piece.
The stainless base bit is brand new as is the small square of 'ventilator glazing rubber' and its so tight .
I don want to break it smacking it with a mallet .
Anyone else replaced this recently ?
Tips or tricks?
