Lockdowns throw in some challenges, although we may have extra time on our hands sourcing parts etc is more difficult.
I'm not so patiently waiting to get my engine down to the machine shop at the moment waiting for restrictions to lift!

Not sure what part of Melbourne you are located, but I used Engineered Performance in Ballarat. Ben was good to deal with.
Like Demacoz mentioned, the earlier you can get the Engineer involved the better, it might save you re-doing or changing things to suit their preferences.

I saw this today on Carsales.com.au. I think they might struggle selling at $55k! What do you think?

Yeah, I had a few offers from people on FB Datsun pages so there are some around still. I spent some time on Saturday cleaning up and painting the RHS mirror and it came up OK, but still had some imperfections. So I bit the bullet and went new, they are not cheap but they will make a big difference to the overall look of the car.
I had initially bought the aftermarket ones from Muscle Car Parts, but they look too big on the ute. The originals are much smaller and better quality.

Ended up buying a pair of new genuine. Cheers.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it today. I injured myself being an idiot so will struggle with the 2hr drive. I am pretty disappointed TBH, but hope you guys have a good day. Cheers.
