thanks for the input but i can get an r16 and 4 speed from my best buds wrecked roadster for the cost of labor ,and in stock form it has more hp than the l16 96 to 92 wondering about the oil pan tho may be the wrong shape ,so l16 or l20 are still definitly in the running.

new guy here , anybody here ever do a r16 engine swap? not finding any info for or against it. have a r16 avail.cheap but would like a 5 speed behind it any suggestions?
