Hi All
Selling all my spares and have a set of carbies someone might want to use.
Twin 42DCOE webers (Italian made) on manifold with linkages. Manifold is marked "GX" but I have no idea what brand it is. Setup came of a A14 motor.
Looking at somewhere around $1000 posted anywhere in OZ. Willing to negotiate on price!
I can send photos via text from my phone. O418-422846

Thanks

Josh

I bought my drums from a brake shop. Shoes should be available from any spare parts shop.
Both will probably need to be ordered in

Are there any aftermarket gauges in the dash?
A close up photo of the fitting on the end may help.

Does the carby have a glass window in it? If it does drive the car and when it the engine stops check the window and see if there is any fuel in it. If there isn't its fuel related, if there is it a spark issue.
I had a similar issue and it was blocked fuel line.

I may have one if it ever turns up. I bought one an thought it wasnt going to turn up, so order another from someone else. It was for an A12, but I think they are all the same in the late motors......someone correct me if I am wrong. I am in Wollongong so could send it to you or straight to Sydney.
Wiki says they can be interchanged

To fast on a road I know is slippery when wet. Turned into roundabout, doing about 30 and the back end goes, over corrected, full 180 rear drivers wheel smacks kerb and shifts diff and suspension mounts about an inch to the passenger side. Wasn't even being stupid, but it #OOPS#s me as I know that bit of road is dangerous.
Will know more when it get measured up to see if it mounts or chassis. Also bent an axel and destroyed a bathurst globe rim.
