okay so my engine spec is: a15 with heavily ported head and aftermarket valves as well as a double valve spring kit, lightweight conrods with pocketed pistons and a lightweight a12 flywheel and lightweight pully set, 290' highlift cam(11.2mm lift) custom branch and exhaust system, and upgraded rings and bearings allround and compression ratio of 10.7-1 and engine is capable of 9700rpm

i have a 1200 ute witch my grandad bought new in 1974 witch he later gave to my dad and eventually came to me, ive rebuilt it twice and cost me about R50 000 every time and this time i even went so far as sand blasting the whole chassis to bare metal to fix all the rust so it can last another 39 years

okay so i just took it out for a little run and i must say the power diffrance as astonishing! also a much MUCH smoother acceleration with a soft foot, however when just gassing it 0-100% it has a little studder, im thinking the sudden surge of fuel might be smothering the spark cos im still using the old points and condenser setup, am i right in thinking that a electronic coil and cdi setup will solve this problem?
