I used to have one but it is now sold. Good to see it is being used as intended now.

the little blue datsun has all but left our family. It is sitting in a car yard waiting for the right person to fall in love with the thing (shouldn't be long). 1 thing I am dissappointed with is that my son's may grow up not having been in a great datsun (due to the lack of bolt holes for baby seats). I must admit that it looks good sitting amongst the falcons & commodores. I am sorry people didn't get to see it at the datsun cruise in brisbane, but that's life. Maybe I will need to find a new club to join in the near future. Glenn.

They are all really the same thing. That is they all cause cancer. Don't worry though as petrol does too. Sorry for being a pessimist.

No it is not a wreckers if that is what you were thinking. P.S. Don't mean to belittle you people out there by making your cars look bad. Everyone to there own and make sure you enjoy the moments with your datsun.

for the record Chris, since you mentioned it. Ships do have turbochargers and to a lesser extent superchargers or sometimes both. I have seen a full grown man standing inside a ships turbo charger (when it wasn't working). Industries have many secrets that us the public don't often find about and 1 is oil and which is the best. Some others are like how some processes use machines with 1000's of PSI boost. (THINK ABOUT THAT). Truth is if you find an oil you like, use it.

Never had a problem with the A15 overheating and that is with the A12 radiator. This is with no thermo fan and the radiator doesn't need to be full and yet it still stays cool, and yes the motor is worked.

If eucalypts didn't want to burn in bush fires then why would they have sap which is flammable. I feel for peopple who have lost possesions and stuff but if I live in the bush as I did, I expect the occasional fire just as I would expect to be stung or bitten in an ocean. Humans have stuffed nature enough and yet we still complain when it takes some of its anger out on us.

What kind of spark plug heat ranges and designs are people using for worked A15's with 10:1 compression. I am trying to find the right one but I am using at the moment NGK BP5ES. The B5ES seemed to work better I think. The difference being that the electrode sat almost below the thread. Another thing, are any of you finding that the lead replace petrol is crap. I try to use Optimax every so often and the car runs a hell of a lot better. OH well, they are all just bad carsenogenics.

Please give me some price ranges for neatly installed packages with these engines including gearbox and a suitable diff. Don't care about the quality of the engine/gearbox as they will be severely rebuilt. Turns out my engine builder is leaving his place of work to port heads for some of the V8 supercar teams. Good for him but I hope he can still do some work for me.
