Hi All,
I have been a quiet observer for a while,
mostly because I am active at the 210/B210 club here on Yahoo! which I consider a brother to the 1200 club. We share some members
beside myself.
I saw the posts about Doug(Mario) and tried to send an E-mail with my get well wishes but his mailbox was full, so it would come back.
I am glad to see he is doing better and home.
The sageman is moving to Arizona as I now have a job there and have a home in escrow.
I will continue to check the postings as I've been doing and invite any who hasn't already, to visit or join the 210 club at Yahoo to
see what
"A" Series and other ideas are being discussed.
Cheers
C-Ya

Well being a plumber by trade I sometimes have to
do this with pipes and fittings but they are Mallable iron or steel. Brass is soft as is your alum head. I use a small fine toothed hack saw blade to cut the pipe from the inside enough
to
collapse in on it self. I can then either thread it out or curl it enough to pull it out.I usually have to split it with a screw driver, using it like a chizel to finish the cut so not
to damage the threads. We call the saw that uses this about 3mm
wide blade a tiny tim or small bow saw.I hold the blade with a rag as the frame is to big to get inside small pipes. It's slow but it works every time!
A rotory file might be better than a drill bit
if you try to mill it out.
Good luck!

Hi All,
Been following some of the projects and I have some info about a few.
The 200SX diff. can be easily transfered to the 1200 but they are wider. The one I have for mine has been narrowed and I will simply cut off the 4 link mounts to make room for the
leaf set up.
Also I have re wired my Bee for racing and have a master cut off switch and a lead to cut off the field current too, But I am running a bigger 82
alternator and it sometimes sends power to the circuit when I cut off the battery switch. I will have to re wire the cut off or do the diode thing.
Or I will just run it off the battery sans alt. alltogether!
The LZ engine (Naps Z head ) puts the intake on the passenger side in the US and there is way more room there. The oil sump in the pan should be a matter of finding a rear sump pan
and the proper pickup tube.
Keep up all the good work!

Hi all,
The 210 was simular to the B210. The parts 210 I have came with the lame A12A engine (Who thought that one up??) and the rear Dif.
is a four link
system and not a leaf spring as the B210 and 1200
models. I have a narrowed 200SX diffy all set up
for the 210(B310) that I might sell or I may cut
off the link stuff to put in the "Lime Rikki"1200
with a floating and ladder bar system. Also the 210 (some I think) had a split driveshaft.

Well I'm confussed,NOT!!
The gizzmo That is being referred to as a flywheel, if it is indeed on the front of your engine is the crankshaft belt drive pully and on a lot on engines, functions
as a vibration dampner.
The flywheel is on the rear of the crankshaft and for most of us is where the clutch cover, clutch
and tranny input shaft is. This is not usually
visable without removing the bellhousing and tranny. Are we on the same page?or am I missing something somewhere?
Hope that helps
Steve

Hello All!
I looked at this 1200 and also contacted the webmaster about it. I now have the Phone number of the guy that built the engines for the
screamer.
I will contact him(Mark Brewer) shortly to see what he can source for any club member.
I am interested in the tech on the NAPS Z head in the fotos as I have this type of head on the LZ2200 for the Honey Bee. If the twin
weber set up
doesn't yeild enough we will look for a simple turbo set up to boost the output.
We need a powerful and low maintainence set up
to keep us racing and not working on our ride all the time.
Cheers

Hi Group,
I just paid 20 bucks for another parts car and it
had some weird looking items on it. It looked like an A15 at first But, I pulled the head and found
small round ports and an unmarried water cooled
intake, also small round ports. The exhaust manifold will fit the A14 but the A14 intake won't
clear the exhaust. I have a spare intake that I can modify to fit though. I think the exhaust manifold
will flow better(more tubular deeign) till we get our header we are making that will fit the non-race heads and still deliver the torque we want. One note about the head off
this engine is that has a way cool smaller heart shaped combustion chamber but same size valves. I'll see
if I can port it enough to work on the A14!
We have gotten back to racing and the car is super consistant yesterday they were calling us the Giant killers as we dusted off a 10. sec corvette roadster!!

OUCH!! almost,
Hello all,
Well the valve that wouldn't close was from the seat turning 180 degrees. The other intake seats
were about to fall out too and didn't need to be drilled out, one came out with finger pressure! Enter Ron LaMon, He made some new high
nickle seats from larger ones and cut new holes in
the head to get a real snug fit. He also installed
bronze guide liners. We added inner springs(Paeco)
and ordered titanium retainers from them too But!they sent the
wrong ones! ( Mooks everywhere!) Bonus! the stock
retainers fit the inner springs,so we are racing this Sunday in Denver. With the parts we could use and all the fine machine work we spent $300
to get back to racing. Not too bad Huh?
We have two new sponsors:Hi-vel Inc,Exotic ammunition on the web @ www.Hi-Vel.com and North American Builders/USA (Local Contractor and business associate)
Hey Money is Money!Right?
Our local Chamber of commerce may kick in a couple Hundred Too!
Hey P.F. where's the Yahoo 1200 club Graphic ??

Being that I see you are in Pheonix it would not
be unreasonable to run 40 wt oil but if your engine is kinda fresh the 20/
50 should work well.

The oil burning you get is most likely from worn
valve seals or worn valve guides. These engines work a long time without much
ware on the rings.
The 40 or 20/ 50 will be okay.
