I am trying to identify the tranny bolted to my A-14 engine. the only mark is FA on top of the bellhousing. Anyone have a clue

I have an A-14 and the only mark on the 5 speed gearbox is FA. We have not run the car yet but it has 6 positions. Any idea wich tranny I have. Also I replaced the clutch and slave cylinder my visual match and the clutch does not engae until it is adjusted almost to the end of the rod. Is this normal
