No matter, who ever pays this much money for a car is probably going to frankenstein it into a drag car anyway.

I totally disagree. There are plenty of "lesser" 1200's that could be bought for much less money and made into a track car. Anyone who spends $5k+ on this level of original goodness hopefully has enough class to keep it clean and STOCK. (Or if modded, able to revert back to stock when the time comes to pass it on...)

I dig the vinyl roof...

Hmmm ... i hope the buyer doesn't drive it everyday and wear it out.

Or to anyone that would modify it!

Ideal buyer: Datsun enthusiast with proper storage that would bring it out to meets and what not and just drive it occasionally to keep everything from drying up and/or rotting away.

My guess is the reserve is 5K.

The Datsun 1200 Holy Grail

Sure hope whoever wins that doesn't lock it in a warehouse to collect dust for the next 20 years...

Can't have it towed...no title. I'll actually have to cut it into pieces & take them to the metal recycler. Needless to say I'm not really happy about the prospect.

Hey Enos, while you're at it, why don't you drive a few more hours North and grab this one as well?

The rear axle will, but the front will need to be put on some type of dolly (no front struts). Most companies charge a straight "non-running" fee.
