hey whats up guys im in the middle of puchasing a "1970 datsun truck"

the guy said its a 1970-71 but it doesnt look like the ones i found in the photo gallery.

this one said datsun 1600 emblem on the side but its looks like it doesnt belong there.

also the bed isnt attached to the cab. and its a long bed.

any ideas if its a real 1970 and not just a Late 70's model.

is there a website that shows all datsun models?

thanks guys

-gus-

well guys after some searching..Its a 520 but not sure on what Yr.

im buying it for $350.00 good deal?..not running

Well i Just found a Ute for 350 Dollars. Its not running but its all complete.

The only problem is that he said its a 70-71 longbed ( i wanted a short bed) and the emblems say datsun 1600

can it be a 70-71 with a 1600?..i thought all 70-71 were 1200's?...if im wrong feel free to school me. IM NEW to the datsuns.

ive been looking around for a datsun since i lost interest in my sunny.... and i have found that i REALLY love the 1200 ute :D ive been around brisbane looking at a few and people are expecting me to pay 2500 for rust!?!?!? its unbelieveable... i kno they are rare and old etc.... but it just aint worth 2500 i reckon...( on most ive seen the body has been in bad condition but the engines are all fine). just wondering if anyone else has had this trouble when looking for a datsun that is around the 2000-4000 price range???
today im looking at a ute thats 3000 so hopefully this one is a goer well ill keep yas posted wen i get my next car
