My question is this,
Does a GB120, and a B210 use the same part number steering knuckle? (Bolts to the strut)
And does the sedan share the same wheel base as the B120, or the GB120?

I've still got it.

I'd love to own another 1200 one day. But they're just fetching too much money now for what you get.

Speaking of south island 1200's,
here's a pic from a few years ago.

Not to fear.
I still have my GN620 for which I have an SR20 and Eaton m62 supercharger put aside, and a P510 whick is getting a CA18 and and IHI lysolm screw supercharger.
I'm definitely addicted to belt driven boost. Granted they're not as light as the mighty and venerable b110, but in many regards they're a little bit easier to get strong driveline parts for.

I didn't know if this day would ever come.
In 2002, I bought a datsun 1200 cheaper than the sum of it's parts. It had had a fire. and was in pretty awful shape. Being 25 years old and far keener than I should have been for my skills I embarked on a road to fix her up.
Over that time it saw many many engines, gearboxes and diffs. The supercharger set up found the limits of stock parts pretty quickly. Surprised a lot of people with how well it went.
Over the years time began to show on the body. Since it mostly lived outdoors, the paint and old repairs needed attention.
Drag racing was pretty hard on the driveline. I spent a lot of time remedying issues this created. And as such never got the chance to develop it any further.
So I sold the supercharger kit, and my 63A five speed to a guy who is every bit as keen as I was all those years ago. His KB310 is going to be a ruthless machine.
Another mate bought my A15 longblock. It's now got an EFI turbo set up in a 1200 two door sedan.
So I put it all back to standard.

And tonight I drove it over to the new owners house.
No more datsun 1200 for me.
Lots of adventures were had. (And a sh!tload of traffic laws got broken along the way too)
Farewell little datsun........

Dave's wheels are Aunger Wildcats I think.
He's owned his SSS for a very long time too.

I would strongly advise putting the flywheel in a lathe and giving the mating face a quick lick to make it true again. Having them fret about doesn't improve their seating any.

That car belongs to a mate of mines cousin.
He's owned it for a very long time.
Was running a 13B PP. It's gone now, but hosted on the website of the drag racing team he crews for (You needed to have the link to see it) was a video of him destroying a pair of tyres.
Last time I spoke to him he'd pulled out the PP, and was fitting a 13B turbo instead.
I think it's all done and runing with the new engine now, as I haven't seen him for ages.
It is a pretty badass car.

It's a pity they're such rust buckets. (Yes, they're even bad by datsun standards)
I know a few guys who are building them. My old supercharger kit is going into a sunny coupe. The guy is every bit as keen as I was ten years ago when I started too.
