No, it is my original. I cut some aftermarket mufflers and weld them together.

I uploaded some pics for you to take a look. I thing you can view them here.

I have never seen the hand brake warning light on top of the dash. I do not think we have it in Japan. What is it for? By the way, the retractable seatblets came with standard on 1200 ute?

I don't think they had the front disc brakes as a dealer packages here. However, B110 strut and disc brake can be fitted to L-G(B)122. I am not sure but isn't this the case?

For the Japanese Sunny Trucks, the clock was a dealer option. It was mounted next to the speedometer. If the owner did not choose to have the option, it was black cover with "Sunny" logo. However, a lot of people here put tacho here, like on my B122. I heard that B110 tacho is also the same size.

Your 1200 ute is just like a L-(G)B122 in Japan. Is 1200 ute still in production in Australia?

Yes. You are right. R- has gray dash and L- has brown one.

How is your Sunny Truck which is under construction coming? Do you have any pictures you can show me?

Sunny Truck in Japan (counterpart of 1200 ute) built after October 89 has the booster and front disc brake from the factory. However, I heard that the fire wall is slightly different between the Sunny truck with the booster and without the booster. I have heard some people modify the fire wall and fit the booster and master cylinder but I don't know how big the modification is. I am not sure but I believe the Sunny truck built before Oct 89 (L-(G)B-122) has the same firewall as 1200 ute.

91 is nice as it comes with front disc brakes and transistor distributor. I have 83, and 86 for parts. I am trying to fix up the 83 but it is my daily driver and I need to keep it running. Very slow progress.
By the way, do you happen to know if the 1200 ute comes with 4 speed?

I have a question for you regarding the 1200 UTE. In which countries is(was) 1200 UTE ("Sunny Truck" in Japan and "1400 Bakkie" in South Africa) available? They stop manufacturing this model about 9 years ago in Japan. I think not many countries have this model. I was always wondering about this. Your information would be greatly appreciated.
