Please post pictures of you custom aluminium fuel tank

My sage of getting the coupe back on the road continues. Having sat for some 7 years the tank has got condensation in it. Fuel gone bad and it’s now very rusted

I know you can get refurb kits for fuel tanks but for similar money excluding time I can fabricate a new Aluminium tank. So looking for inspiration

Cheers

Where to buy?

Looking to source 240z inserts to put into Stanza strut. But having hard time finding them. Pedders are no longer available according to my local branch. Told Monroe units are not available anymore and the Kyb ones I found were dam expensive.

Any other options anyone is aware of before I upgrade to Coilovers.

10 year break from the scene and ohh how it’s changed with parts availability

Thanks for the information. Ideally I would like the 240z inserts to put into Stanza struts but finding a set at an affordable price is becoming challenging. So any leads appreciated

Been searching but can’t find the answers

What is the difference between 240z and 300zx front strut shock obsorber inserts?
In particular length.

Are the top of the strut insert (nut and diameter) the same between stanza, 240z and 300zx ?

Cheers

Been a long 7 years since the coupe has been on the road and undoing the years of neglect.

Anyone know who stocks bump stop and dust cover for stanza strut assembly or have any clues as to what will fit.

Cheers

Last Datsun event I can recall or rather attended was the All Jap Day. Be good to have another run. The 1200 is out of action though

Yes electronic, means no speedo cable.

You should be able to use the electronic sender on the CA box. I have done this with a VDO speedo with no problems, not sure about Autometer.

Good luck with the sale and let us know what you get. Will help me gauge what mine is worth.
