i spent all friday at the work shop with the coupe.. new gaskets filters points etc. car was running like a charm!
Got to calder and took it off the trailer, things were great, ppl were asking me if it was a rotor after hearing her fire up but to there amazment i told them it was just the cam giving it a nice note!
Got through Scrouteneering fine (only had to take the hub caps off) and headed out to the line up.. she was purring!!!!
As i pulled up she starting to cough and spit and didnt want to idol then wouldnt make power. i started to worry.
i heasded back to pits and i think ske got stage fright!!! the timing was up #### creek!!! i ckecked points with the feelers gauge n it was all ok but i didnt have my timing light to ckeck out how it was...
SHE SPENT THE NITE ON THE TRAILER AND I LOST $55!
but i got to watch some quick 1600's munch some V8's
the night was sour but i saw datto's run 11's so i was a little more happy!!!!

My coupe is running great! i just ran my mate in his N14 SSS 2.0 and he saw my ass!!! he has tolde me his car from the factory run a 15sec 1/4 so im hoping 15's maybe even a high 14!!!!! all i goota do i lay with my steering coz i got a bit of play in the wheel

Im gonna bring the A14 coupe down on a trailer!! i cant sit back n watch. ive spent $160 on leads, plugs filters, points, gasket kit etc. the first time ive touched the car since i got it! LOL!

So ill be there with an A14 coupe...

i also think that if we know numbers it would be a good photo oppertunity for the melb dats
