I remember some one selling them on here as a one piece fiberglass unit, although that was about 5-6 years ago now. There was one with a nissan micra or similar dash shortened and jammed in somehow too. That looked really sweet.

Hey guys, i'm wondering if anyone can help with this drama:

Car: 1993 ford KH laser
Engine: 1.6L carby/dizzy etc. (i.e. no computers)
Trans: manual

Problem: Wife was driving home from work, when suddenly the car died. No warning whatsoever. It wouldn't start again. Trailered it home, tried again the next morning, started no problems, ran for a few minutes, then died again without warning, and wouldn't start again. This morning and this afternoon I've had the same dramas. starts and runs perfect, dies after a few minutes and won't start again.

Each time I check the spark before running, its fine. after it dies, there's no spark at all. I've replaced the coil, no change. With the ignition on on i have tested the power supply to the coil, and it has 12Volts, but won't show any spark while cranking. Dizzy cap looks fine as do leads (i've swapped out leads, no change either)

Year: 1967

Body: Sedan

Driveline: 1500cc pre-crossflow engine, electronic dizzy, a bit tired, but runs well. 4 speed box, on the tree, apparently recently had some work done to it, and diff has a bit of a whine.

Condition: Drives well, no evidence of major accident damage, although it has two decent dents. Rust definitely needs attention, however it is mostly restricted to doors, rear quarters and sills.

Modifications: Different front seats, tow bar, and spotties bolted to the front bumper. Other than that its all original (as far as I can tell).

It would make a great project! I bought it to get me around for a couple months while i've been fixing my ute. Can't keep both, so this one has to go.

Rego is due Feb.
