the radiator should fit, to make the conversion easier you should fit an auto tunnel to your car. can i post piccy;s somewhere here to show you where the shifter comes out through the floor? on my 1200 coupe Heath

another thing, i had to get a sleeve made, for 1 of the selector shafts, 1 of the 3 on the stumpy was smaller than the CA18 ( but i don't exactly know about the CA20 selectors), i went back to the CA box once people were breaking the stumpy's behind CA powered 1200's. Heath

i actually did it with the CA18 bellhousing 1. CA18det 2. CA18det 3. CA20 4. CA20 5, i think you find CA 20 and CA18 starters and sandwich plates will be the same, the CA box is stronger and has better ratio's. Heath

100mm in Qld includes the exhaust, they run a ball under your car, if it stops than your too low. Heath

Hi guys first time to post, i have read most of the replys, up here in Qld, speed doesn't matter when you are racing someone (time trialling), my friends younger brother raced someone on the M1, he backed off at 110kph, and still lost his car. Street racing and hooning are too different things, i believe. Organized street racing is normally Hoonless, as they attract unwanted attention. and only a couple of cars, i have been with friends that go to Sunnybank on a Thursday night and the amount of cars on the Gateway is a joke. Hoons are a plenty, Same with the Goldy (southport) on a Saturday night, at least there are coppers everywhere which makes everyone act sensible. Hoon stickers will be a trophy for some. We need more race tracks (1/4 mile) closer to Brisbane ie Beenleigh would be perfect, in between the Goldy and Brisbane.
