I had that engine for 18 years.

With some mods on that engine, diferent carburetor, 2'' 1/2 exhaust some work modifying some things can i make it 10 seconds? and +/- 90/95 hp ?

For now i think i will start with a A14 and some time later propably i try to install a turbo on it.

L8r im thinking about a c18det conversion, that will be a little more difficult but i'm couting with your help to make it happen. And then i'll have the fastest and most furious 1200 in portugal

My Datsun is from january 1974, i read that the 1200 from middle 73 and 74 had the changes.
I can put a picture os the engine bay to see if i can pop the other engine right in or if i need to make those little changes.

I'll make my presentation first.
Im Alex from portugal, and i have a 1200 4 door deluxe from 1974. I'm starting to think about a "new" engine to my baby.
I think (and correct me if i'm wrong) that i can put an A14 or A15 from Datsun/Nissan sunny (along whit gearbox, brakes, etc) straight in. Am I correct??
