Found a set of Arias A12 pistons digging through the parts. I believe they are standard bore but I need to check one more time. I wish I could tell the exact compression on it, but the side of the box just has MAX written where the c/r should be so I guess just mill these to your desired compression ratio. I believe there are also rings and c-clips for the wrist pins so this will require fully bushed rods.

These are not for the faint of heart, big power a12's need these.

Parts are located in USA and might consider international shipping if they sell for the right price.

I'd post an asking price but I have absolutely no idea what something like this is worth, atleast for an a12.

Looks like I'll be putting together a much milder a14 with the parts I already have first, if it makes enough power I'll keep it as is, if not..... L20.......

That KA24de I have sitting in the back corner of my garage is starting to look more tempting.

I'm about to start work on a pretty crazy a14 setup for road race and the occasional street use, I am just wondering about how much power to expect so I can figure out injector sizing.

EFI with four 38mm throttle bodies
ported a14 head
Pitroad lighweight pistons
ballanced crank
Pitroad camshaft (D or E)
oversized valves
lighweight pushrods
dry sump
and everything else to make it turn 9,000 RPM

Any idea of how much power this would make is greatly appreciated, should be a fun project and complete by december

Sr20det with a monster turbo. I might just consider going with the ford 8.8 and play it safe. Don't know what a H190 is but it sounds just about as beefy as a 8.8, how much would the H190 have to be cut down?

I have access to a sedan axle with limited slip, and a ute axle that has an open differential. Are either of these stronger than the other, I'm planing on making roughly 375whp with my motor swap in the near future and want to know if either of these axles will hold up to the power with a relatively sticky street tire.

thanks in advance,
Drew

Thanks for all the help, the carbs are off an old race bike I built a few years ago and wrecked that made 113hp to the wheel, which is about what I expect out of this a14 (lumpy cam, custom headers, high compression and head porting). I realize I will have to fabricate an intake manifold, but that's really no big deal, i do that quite often where I work.

Very soon I will be purchasing a 71 coupe from a friend of mine, and have already started work on it. I have seen that people are using mikuni or keihin carbs off motorcycles on the a series motors and I had a question before I tried one of my own. I have an old wrecked yamaha FZR600 that came with 4 mikuni 32mm flat slide carbs, do you think that would be enough for a pretty highly modified (still runs 93 octane gas) a14 on the street? I know I will have to tune the carbs and possibly change needles and jets, but I would like to run a setup like this.
