Datto enthusiasm is coming. We dont have enuf bling to bring them over. Although mine will be well finished by then.

The datto now has the sr in there, after lots of hard work, and #### loads of wiggling, pushing, and cutting its now in there!!

But... we had to cut the trans tunnel even more, so theres the next mision, re-doing the trans tunnel.

Hrmmm... sounds like everyone is having a big bitch and moan ... so i will leave you guys to feel sorry for yourselfs... i dont have many tools, and i only have the garage 2 days a week... but i still have fun and make do with what i have...this project will get done... and its only going to get done with sheer determination.

I know that the wiring is going to be one of the hardest parts... and what did you guys use in the way of a clutch master cylinder? presuming that you have made it hydrolic.

And sway bars... i have taken mine out.. what do i use as a replacement??? its kind of dodgy without one.

The engine + box should be all mounted by this weekend... the only thing i wont have done will be the hoses, wiring etc etc which is definatly going to be time consuming!!!

i just posted my pics up in a different thread... its possible... and the SR gearbox into my 1200 ute was a mission... but in saying that it wasnt that hard either...

Well guys... its possible, and its extremely fun! engine bay is just getting painted and im dropping in a sr20de into my 1200 ute.

The Trans Tunnel was a mission.... but after this weekend... i would like to say MISSION ACOMPLISHED!!!
