hey all,
i am currently part way through changing a lot of my 1200 sedan and i would like to try and lower the car, hower as i am sure many of us find it is quite hard to get some parts for the beloved datsuns. what are the different approaches to lowering, so far i have been told that they cant be lowered, by others i have been told it willl cost me nearly 2 grand. All i want 2 know is what components need replacing and any estimates of cost cheers andrew

I found when doing my car that just using primer as not enough to stop the reaction. If the acrylic laquer still reacts then you need to use a isolater before your primer.
Did the trick for me!!!!!

hmmmmmm
what do you think? what i should do ? i cant decide wheather to go three ways with my bumpers on my 1200 sedan. The first option is to get re chromed which is the most expensive option, but always looks a treat. The second option is to spray the bumpers aluminium, I have seen a coupe of cars done like this but i am not too sure if i like it. The third option i have is to colour match with my body paint which is a dark ruby red. dilemas huh? what have others done? Do i have anymore options?

just been having a think and as my sedan is nearing completion i cant help but think that it would just look sooo sweet if was ridin a lil lower.
Just curious to what other have done? are new aftermarked coils and springs the go? is it possible to do it myself or do you need specialist tools? I was probaly wanting to get at least a few inches lower than stock. Any advice or reccomendations would be great cheers
