They are a nice rim. I had a car with Hotwires on it for 14 years. I bought these because I wanted to put a set on another car, but sold my Coupe before I got around to it.
I've only listed them here in case someone could use them. It's a bit of a waste to have them sit in the shed in boxes, but if no-one is interested maybe one day I'll pick up a car for them and use them myself.
If someone desperately wants a set though I might negotiate on the price.

As the title suggests I have a set of four (4) mint condition Hotwires 14x6 for sale. They come with caps (not genuine) and full set of new nuts/washers. NO rubber with them.
$400 for all four. Rims were bought for my white coupe which I sold a few years back. They were never mounted.
Rims are located Orange NSW.
Will ship Australia wide at your expense.

I've pretty much made up my mind to sell. It was only really a hobby and my interest in it over the last few weeks has gone. I've got plenty of cash to retire and head overseas but space is a bit of an issue, and imposing on my brother by taking up his valuable shed space indefinitely is not ideal. He says he doesn't mind but I don't like to offend anyone.

I have to finalise a few things before I go so I might be here for a month or so. If it doesn't sell in that time then I might have to store it. Who knows, maybe in a few years if I get back this way the interest might return.

Car is located in Orange NSW - 3 hours west of Sydney (half hour from Bathurst). It hasn't been driven in the rain since I built it and is always garaged (when it wasn't being used that is)

Hey Guys.

After a bit of deliberation I've decided it's time to sell. Looking for $13,000 and with the coupe you get:

- 4 x fully reconditioned 14"x6" hotwire wheels (no tyres). They look new and are unused since reconditioning.
- 4 x used 12" x skinny hotwires (no tyres) in average condition
- 4 x used SSR Mesh 15"x6" 3-peice alloys (no tyres) (see pics in my album). I'd tried to give these to a guy but he never turned up so they can now go with the car. Go figure ?? Rims are in excellent condition.

- 2 x stanza struts with fully reconditioned callipers. They're the early ones with 3" bolt spacing (don't fit girlock callipers) and have been shortened to take Koni inserts. No inserts included or springs, other than the standard stanza ones. Ok condition.

- 1 x stainless steel grill with headlight surrounds and mesh covers. Excellent condition.


Coupe has a15 race motor with about 1600 miles on it. Twin 45 webers. Remote VH44 booster under dash. Stanza discs on front with girlock callipers. Kings springs. Koni shocks all round. Fronts adjustable. Re-set rear leaves (no lowering blocks). Ute diff. Sparco Pro-2000 seats, 5 point harnesses, rollcage, sparco extinguisher and sparco suede steering wheel. All bolts have been replaced with either stainless or grade 8 where appropriate. New windscreen. New chrome all round. Not show quality but has new paint and presents ok. Currently has TRX rims on it with new (1600 miles) Yokohama c-drive street rubber as per pics. 185's on front. 195's on rear. All brake lines / fuel lines replaced. New 4 core radiator. All mods are covered by Engineers Report. All up it cost about $29k to build because I replaced everything I could with new parts. I know you never get your money back but I think $13k is pretty reasonable.

I'm offering it for sale for 3 reasons to those interested. Firstly because I've lost interest. Secondly I thought I might pack up and head to Europe to catch up with my girlfriend.Thirdly becuase Whoridas_girl told me to F-off from the website so I thought I would. Car is currently in my brothers shed and I think it's rude to leave it there while I'm gone, just in case I don't come back. If it doesn't sell at $13k then I might have to arrange something with him.

Also have a 1979 Honda 2 door Civic if anyones interested. It's in the same shed. It's got one of those hondamatic 2 speed things and whilst it's got a mint interior and only 56000km's on it, it's guaranteed not to excite.
