Is the earth and power to the injectors good ? You may have done something bad when those wires were shorted out. Is there any fuse for the injectors ? Maby spray a bit of aerostart into the intake and see if it fires on that if it does then its a fuel problem for sure.

Hey guys just a quick question in relation to stroking, does anyone know if a ca20 crankshaft will fit into a ca18 ? Ive often thought of trying this but dont know if it will be as strong as a ca18det crank.

Yep you should be able to get it to fit in there nicely and the gearstick coming out of the original hole is a bonus. its a bit too far back with a ca gearbox. The front of the trans tunnel may need a slight massage to clear a few bits on the bellhousing. i mounted my engine close to the firewall but if you move it forward a bit it may not need this. Also the ca turbo gears will fit into the stumpy case, just have to run the stumpy output shaft. Makes it a bit stronger cause i have heard that the stumpys are a bit weak. Also may have to drill a hole in the side of the trans tunnel to fill the geargox up with oil or just fill it before you install it.
