#8 Supercharging an a15
SUNEE Posted on: 2005/12/25 1:38
Thinking about supercharging my stock a15 to get alittle more power! Wanting to use the Toyota superchargers that come of the MR2s (I think).

Has anyone done this before? Just want to know whats involved? I would be wanting to run a carby setup!

You will need a 12V coil.
You could test that it is all going to work with the standard coil first.

Does the dizzy use an external ignitor module? Do you have it?

Look for a coil off a VL commodore.
Best Bang for Buck.

It runs with the standard coil and the ballsit resistor still conected (I was told this can damage the module inside the distributer). Does a VL coil have a male or female plug???
