Hi im different ,Stick to the u67 head it is much better.
You will need to weld up the combustion chamber but the ports will come out safely to 40mm.Other heads are too small in the ports .
Try to get a gas head ,small chambers larger ports.

You have got a bad earth behind the dash some where.Check all your earth points.
It works like this, thepower tries to find the easiest way to earth(-)When you have an earth problem all the power is dissipated amongst what lamps are in circuit and they are all affected. Hope this helps

Hi ,bruce is correct ,I used a standard crossmember and changed the mounts .
Manufactured a G/Box x/member ,However i used a 260z box to get better ratios for hillclimbing .
A modified 620 ute diff 4.6 h190 ,a little heavy but never broke ,with just over 200HP.
Cut the original G/B mounts out because they vibrate like crazy. Also its preferable to use an auto shell if possible. I also used extractors(Datsun specials)Radiator you may get a silvia one in,i used a BMC kimberly radiator but they will be like rocking horse crap now cant think of much else Dennis

Hi you can get 150 HP fairly easy but it doesn`t come all that cheap
1/series 2 bottom end
2/deck the block 40thou
3/weld up the combustion chambers and reshape
4/76 deg cam, preferably clive cams
5/ a good port job
6/ a set of hm datsun specials and twin 45`s.
