Hey Mildman thanks for the guidance, I have thought of these facts (to a point) not a great deal tho as I only got the idea like 2 weeks ago, put the post in the pocket trader on Monday and got the call yesterday. I am pretty sure that I will have the budget for the conversion but would like it if I could get some more info on conversion and price$$. I was going to get a 180sx but then thought this would be so much more cheaper and different as I have not ever heard of a E15ET powered Datsun. Thanks for your input, keep it coming

Yeh it is out of my pulsar EXA which is redg at the moment but still FWD and has rust that will slowly be coming back out. I got the idea off my dad, then i put an add in the poket trader for a 120y and got a ring today. Not looking for the 120y manual box coversion i will be getting a differant Gbox out of a nissan not sure yet though gotta look into it. I am more looking for fitting up a clutch cable.

Hi I am new to this site i had a bit of a look around looks good but could not find much info on manual to auto conversion. I am going to put a E15ET motor into a 120Y. The 120y that I am looking at is a 74-model 4-door auto. I am after any info I can get on the conversion i.e. how to go about putting the clutch cable in, removing all older stuff anything that would help. Much appreciated Cheers Adrian
