Hello utefella.
I also have a ute with all new panels for it (just havent got around too fitting them yet as you can see. The cheapest place i found for panels is All Jap on Sandgate road. Tailgate $135, front guard $95, Front apron panel $40, Door skins $75, Complete door $around $300 cant really remember. Hope this is of assistance

Ok thanks every one you have convinced me ill go the CA18DET. But the next question is who is the best to get one from in Australia? I have tried a few and its amazing how much the prices vary from one place to another. So far ive been quoted from $1800 all the way up to $4000 for a front cut. Doesnt really matter where abouts in Australia as ill be travelling down to SA and around to Brisbane and back home at christmas and ill get it then.

Yes NT roads go off. Just love the cruising at velocity. Thus the ute MUST have a CA18.

Hi all i have just joined and have my own little project in the pipeline. When i get a chance ill send some pics. Oh buy the way i have a 1200 ute with big plans to fit a CA18DET. So far i have all new panels to fit except the roof which is perfect anyway. The problem i have is obtaining the section between the tail light panels(the one the tail gate is bolted to and houses the No. plate. Im in the northern territory so if any one has one please let me know as long as you are in Australia as well. Anyhow thanks people hope to seeya soon.
