Perhaps the wrong Forum, so Mr. Moderator if you please....

I sold a 1993 pickup to a neighbor that only wanted the rust free box, now the rest of the truck just sits in his yard. It has a good KA24DE engine and a bad automatic transmission. Will the 2.4 engine squeak into the bay of a 1972 1200 body?

$2004 is for everything. I bought a Chevy Monte Carlo for $200 & took the body off, moved the engine to just ahead of the diff and lowered the Bus body on. Whatever hung off the bottom got cut off. Look at the door handles, it wasn't very tall....

I just registered here because there are so few sites devoted to older Datsuns, I'm glad you're here. Obviously by my screen name I have a Porsche 914, I use it mostly for Autocross. I also have a 1966 Datsun 1600 roadster, Love it!! I just bought a 1971 Datsun 1200 with no engine, but I have an extra engine from the 1600. Will the 1600 bolt up to the 1200 motor mounts etc.? I am building this car for an event in October hosted by a car magazine called Grassroots Motorsports.

You build,buy or bring a car to compete in Autocross (solo 2), 1/4 mile drags and concourse. This year you are limited to spending $2006, show all receipts. Interesting Challenge.
