i left the stock ones but restored with leather for several reasons, for example, correct size, height to drive, distance to steering would not be affected even though adjustable rails

I had the same issue, if i got it right your 1200 should be using 2 flasher units, but the hazard one is deffective, replace that one or both of them and try againg, the trouble will be solved.

Hint: i found them in the same bag as the ashtray screws, they are going probably close to it

Also, there are a rash of reports that the latest Grant 4590 model does not fit the 1200. The old Grant 4590 does fit.

it is true.. i bought it and 4590 does not fit on 1200.

Hey, i have been around Datsun1200.com very often and it has been a very powerful tool for me and my Datsun project, but i have not been very active on forum, so, here I am and i would like to introduce you my ride, from Guatemala, Datsun 1200 ute LB120 with an A12 engine.

I hope to stick around here and show to all of you guys the progress on my project.

About my car, i bought it from 1 owner, with 69,000kms on it; mods: just a 32/36 progressive webber, original parts changes, customized lowering springs and struts on front and drop blocks on rear, stock interior, original AM sterero,

Upcoming mods; full body paint job (hopefully very soon), grant wood steering wheel, bullet chromed fender mirrors, engine paint job and i think it will be 100% ready to show scene.

Best regards.

This is how i bought it.. 1 owner 69,0000 Kms on it.
