Non-USA spec. 120Y sedan. The roof line is 1" taller than the coupe, 2 & 4 door.

Yeah, pretty much all side draught carbs are the same... but you can't get parts the same! weber is still in business, so go with the webers. I have a pair of Dellorto 40's
and next to impossible to find parts, like jets, gaskets, floats,etc.etc. mikuni was a factory option on some datsun models, but they are no longer either!

I personally use the oil filter from a 1990-95 300ZX, as they have a better filtering capability. Use the 1 for the turbo

yes! it's an easy install, with some mechanical knowledge. A "50 shot" shouldn't cause too many problems with the trans. etc. BUT, as B210sleeper pointed out,
a weber setup would make lifea little easier! plan on spending some big chips to do it right!! Electric fuel pump, lots of braided hose, couple of solenoids....it will be worth it when you smoke some sixes!!!

it depends on the "loosy" feel, it could be the plastic shifter bushings, that would make a sloppy shift. Or does it grind when shifting?
if so , it could be an adjustment on the slave cyl. or master. then again, it could be time for a 5 speed!!!

you probably don't need smog inspections anymore, get a weber!

If it is a 76, you still need to have a smog check. So, don't get rid of it yet! The choke will not make the carb "wet" it will smoke like a b!tch! Tip on rebuild... Pay someone with alot of experience. That particular carb is one of the hardest nissan ever made to rebuild right. If you do it, TAKE YOU'RE TIME!!! try to put parts in order.

The center bolt should be recessed on the top of the head, and a little longer. you would have to crank the engine awful hard by hand to get oil pressure, if you can, use the starter .
