For $180 u can get 3 months rego in the ACT.
I spose the only prob would be carrying enough fuel to get between servos. And if i redo the engine and chuck it on gas, how many places sell gas in the desert???
Still, for an extra 2k sale price it might be worth the hassle, and i guess u should see the rest of Australia sometime...

Well Tyrie seeing as you have the power plant my little shell so desperately needs ;)
Nah but seriously it's worth more than that. I'd consider taking a deposit, let u have the car and (say) keep the rego papers until you paid the rest off...
But i've got a couple of blokes coming by - one today and one tomorrow - so if thats worth considering u should try to get over to see it. 0402898539

i should come clean and say that my 'winning' buyer on ebay was actually my dad since the biddling was stuck at around 1750 and i thought it was worth more than that.
silly as i'm now very short of a buyer and moving the car unregoed is going to be a drama and a risk.
oh well, you make your own bed i guess.

Thanks for the feedback, Bert.
The front panel was on the car when purcharsed so i'll take your word for it. The seats are in good condition (should have taken the covers off!!). Boot boards and panels are detached and come with the car (had intended to use them to form a fibreglass moulding to provide strength).
I'd like to keep the car and improve it but unfortunately moving costs mean a sale is fairly necessary. I'm at the stage of selling ASAP and will take pretty much anything. The 2250 figure would have been acceptable but the buyer pulled out and the 2nd place price didn't respond to my emails.
At this stage i'd happily take $2k.
Thanks again.
