Hi Mate, I've got an auto console selector chrome trim thing out of a 1200 Coupe console. It's in O.K. condition -- if it's any use to you email me your address and I'll post it down to you, no charge, as it's no use to me.
Cheers, Paul, Brisbane

Thanks for the feedback. $295 was the price for five or more units to be made so are obviously way too much money. I definitely won't go ahead with this --- was just trying to help out other 1200 drivers. Cheers, Paul.

I've had a number of people ask me about the front spoiler on my 1200. Where did I get it, is it for sale etc. It was on the car when i bought it so don't know where it came from but I was talking to a boat builder the other day who said he could use mine for a mould and produce them for about $295. His boat build quality is amazing and the spoilers would be finished in high gloss white. Is this too dear? Does anyone want one? Have photos but they would not load on here.

I'm trying to buy a 1200 sedan or coupe, preferably standard if possible. I've sold some of my old Jap bikes to fund this and am ready to buy if anyone can help. I owned a string of 1200's, 1200SSS's and Coupes years ago in 'The Land of Sheep and Boiling Mud' and really need another one!
Any assistance would be great -- Cheers,Paul.

Thought you guys might be interested -- there's an original 1200SSS for sale in Christchurch, NZ. You probably already know, but these were a NZ only car with factory side-draufgts, mags, sports steering wheel, centre console with built-in tacho and hi-back seats -- sold new with full factory warranty. From memory, I think they were 96bhp.I was lucky enough to own several of these in the '70's [ old bastard-I know! ] along with various other 1200 coupes and sedans.
I'm tempted to buy it and ship it back to Brisbane --- just have to market the idea to the wife!
The car can be seen on classiccarfair.com
Just look under 'D' or 'New listngs'.
Cheers, Paul.

Neat little car Turboute, just what I'm looking for! How much? I'm in Cornubia, between Brissie and the Gold Coast and a genuine buyer. Cheers, Paul.

Firstly a quick hello from a new [old] guy. My name is Paul and I owned numerous Datsuns back in the 70's and 80's back in N.Z. [3x SSS1200's, many 1200 sedans and coupes, also 180B, 140J and 240Z]. Anyway I really need to get back into these neat old cars and am looking for a tidy 1200 sedan or coupe - preferably manual. Any leads would be gratefully received. Due to a lack of workshop space, time [and ability!] a running car would probably be better than a 'project'.
Cheers and regards,
Paul.
