yeah thats true, but even 150kg less all round would be good. but yeh even 40kg - 50kg from the front and stock weight at the back would be good.
also if i got cf panels that would help the ridigity, wouldnt it?

yeah... i guess i should give my reasons for wanting less nose weight...
im thinking of making an sr20det datsun 1000. so if the 80kg (i think) engine is 65/35 front/rear weight then the 150kg (i think) sr20det would REALLY screw the handling. so yeh i wanna lighten the front end some. maybe some subs & stuff in the boot would help.

atm im thinking a cf bonnet, front bumper & front 1/4 panels would make more sense.

yeah, im fairly happy with the dattos lightweight but i wanna get the front:rear weight distribution as close to 50:50 as i can.

yeah but main concern is that an sr dat is really nose heavy, so thinking of ways to lighten the engine.

has anyone thought about getting parts of the engines rebuilt with titanium? if things like camshafts can be on f1 cars, why cant parts of the engine on our cars be? might help with the nose weight an sr20 datto too. yeah i know its expensive but would probably work...right?
