Hi all Got a 5 speed which i broke when i had my ute. I'm pretty sure it's a 60 series. Not sure if it's worth anything but I have no use for it any more. From memory the gear on the input shaft and one on the lay gear are damaged. I'm in northern suburbs, Perth if anyone is interested.

G'Day guys Just wanted to know if the white ute with dark grey 5 spokes and a14 turbo has been on the dyno. I used to own it but never put it on the rollers and i'm dying to know. Good to see it still getting around. cheers

Just on piston selection, I used pulsar et in my a14. No mods required. Not sure how they would go in an a15. Being designed for a turbo they had thicker ring lands and decent rings, also a deep dish in the piston. Probably a bit to deep. It was a little bit sluggish off boost. A cheap option any way.

For a cheap fix, try looking at et pulsar pistons. I had them on my a14et so I think they will fit the a15.They have thicker ring lands and thicker piston face. Also have moly rings from memory. They will lower the compression a bit. The pin required no machining to fit.

From what I know, the syncros from a vanette box will fit. So will the input shaft and laygear. Never done it but I'm chasing those two parts to fix my old 5 speed. Like what has been said earlier, no the syncros can't be reversed but can be swaped around to a less used gear.
