There are a couple of bits where you will max out for a second or two (as they are downhill

). No, I wouldn't change it. We had a slight loose toward the top of 5th, that fortunately worked out well (never back off on the top of a crest with a locked diff...!)
We are running a 5 speed, with a 4.87 rear ratio. Mostly only just touching 5th. There is actually allot of variation in the roads(which is good), so there will be no "one" perfect set-up. A few guys last year were commenting about the continuing surface change on stage 6. Personally I thought it was heaps of fun, sand, clay, ball bearing stones, back to slippy clay etc.
Yep short event for us, mainly because of cost, but also service crew etc.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Damien
ps. I should mention that the organisers reckon the roads are not the same as last year, but you would have to guess that they are basically the same, run in different directions and maybe joined up a little different.
