be VERY awake when you do this, as ONE headbolt has a 'thinning' throat, that is where the oil rises UP to the head. Keep that position, you'll do fine.

hello, and be VERY careful when removing the head bolts. ONE of them has a 'thinned' throat, that is where the oil rises to the head, its place is special. do your best.

Hello one and all, just a comment on the side. no joke, a Ucla center drove a 1200, and with his height, he drove from the rear seat! This was in the 1970s. : }

good luck with your efforts, but the 1200 is quite different from the 'after' Datsuns. I had a 1200, had a 'mistake' (accident) and looked to getting a new er Datsun. I saw the 210 also (1978 was the year). The space available can and will be 'different'. : }

my input here. I put a sway bar on the rear axle, and it handled like a dream! (my 1200)

good luck with your radiator search. Mine 'ended' in the times of '78, the original owner lived in San Diego. All the salt air ate at the fins. I had a 'local' guy do the work for it, was good for a while until the cooler hose blew on me. 154 highway, climbing toward Lake Cachuma.

hello, a simple thought from my 1200 days. Put an electrical fan on the motor, a major problem for me was no cooling when driving up a steep grade. Also, check your hoses. good luck. : }(script removed) justReturn()
