We live in east devonport
thanks for the advice dazza, but as we said in the last post we are doing the whole build in 1 go (apart from le engine) as the ute will be stripped bare, the rear 1/4 panels are coming off, as is the ute tub and rear chassis will be strengthend in case i decide to go for bigger power (maybe a sr 20) when i get my full liscence We are looking at a steering weel on ebay (its nice) at the moment, just getting stuff bit by bit as my pocket money will allow, hopefully it wont get to high Will keep on whith updates as we go thanks for all the kind words and advice ry

it is a ra28 fastback, Its puals, my stepdads, its gunna be done up and sold, we have another one we are going to do up for mum.
as for the diff conversion we can do most of it ourselves exept the axels, we plan to get the car setup for bigger and better things now while it will be striped down so it dsnt have to be done later, its just gunna save time later on and it was for free ![]() thanks for the kind words ppls ryan

hi, as some of you know, i am 12yrs old an my family bought me a 1200 ute to do up for when i get my license,
the car has been stored for the last 12months as we have had no where to put it, below are some pics of the ute and as you can see, it needs alot of work, some 1 has welded dodgy floor and sill panels on, these will be replaced. we have another 2 ues which we will get parts from and make another ute as sort of a practice run for the real thing. plans for the ute i will be keeping include, r31 skyline diff and brakes, new suspension , full respray and interior retrim and a set of mags, and a new tray bed. the engin will remain basically std, it was fully rebuilt around 20,000k's ago and seems to run really well, we have a 32/36 webber which came with the other utes, so we will put this on and maybe a set of extractors, then when i get some driving experience will upgrade then. as we still have 4 yrs to build the ute, it will be a slow thread, but hopefull we can do a bit every now and then and will keep it updated as we go. ryan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

hey ppls, how are we?
we ahvent been on here for a while (for those who dont know or cant remember, ry is 11yrs old, we got him a 1200 ute to do up for his 1st car) anyways, we have been given some r31 skyline stuff, a disc to disc diff, and a full complete front end, but we are unsure wat we can use, all the jargon bout wat fits dont make much sense to us (im into early celicas and rotaries, having 2 rs28's, r100 and 1300 wagon in the build) so any help is appreciated. we know the diff will have to be shortened, but from wat i gather for the struts, they are too big but can be made fit if they are modded to coilovers?? in whic way are they too big?? we are building the ute on a budget just to get it on the road for ry to learn in, and then i guesss he will take over and do a turbo conversion (hence the upgraded diff, susp and brakes) any help is appreciated annette and krem (mom and stepdad)
