bored to 1600 is that 78 or 79mm? whats a jts head? sounds like it should go good anyway :) dundee has a set of low comp 15 pistons but i don't want the comp any lower really. the head i'm gonna use has been shaved so much its gonna bump the comp up too.

well we found an a12 to put in the wag. apparently has been overheated or something wrong with the head. we pulled it down friday night and it all looked ok so feckknows what the deal is with it. gonna run a re-ring kit through it anyways to be sure. but now the plans have really changed. this motor is just temp until i finish the a15 which is now on the cards. high comp oval port head with huge ports, big cam, match ported oval manifold, twin solexs, lightened pushrods, billet rocker spcaers, electronic dizzy, hpc exctractors.. the whole deal. should go a bit better :)

dundee and i pulled the head off the a12 out of my wag last night as it was spurting water out of the exhaust. after removing the head we found that there was something solid been floating around in number 3 and had made interesting craters in the top of the piston and the bottom of the head. i will upload pics as soon as i can so you can all have a laugh at this abortion :P

i'm not looking to make it into a rocket ship mate gotta drive it to work and stuff. the a12 can give me what i want from it and its there :) its the old version so it mounts straight up and its easier. i know dundee would sell me a 14 or 15 if i was all for it but i'll stick with the 12 for the mo.
