Hi Tommy, adding to your questions YES the A14 will fit into your ute however i do believe you have to alter your engine mounts as the A14/A15 sit slightly further forward i thing(could be back) only by about 2 inches. However ive heard that the utes accuallyhouse the A14 with no mods to the mounts i quess it depends on the year of prodution. Webers are great for worked engines and do tend to use larger amounts of fuel however their worth it. (not really justifiable on a stocky engine though). As for your extractors you wont be able to use them on th A14 as the heads are different. Hope this is of any help to you and if any of the other boys in the club know better please feel free to correct me. Cheers BEAU.

thats my ultimate goal. I know its a pretty common conversion for the 1200s around the california area. As far as i know they fit in with little modifications, leaving the fire wall standard which is usually a good thing. This is the non turbo version though, Im not sure how the turbo or twin turbo VGs fit.

why would you want to. You probably could, though i dont know how the engine would handle it sorry. I have freinds who run the LRP engines on UnLeaded just to save money and their cars are still going with no side affects to date.

Most engine parts like the alternator and starter motor might come in handy one day.

i dont think the A12 block would handle being bored out that much. Dont quote me on it. My A14 walls look very thin between piston 1&2 and 3&4. And wouldnt you be better off using the A15 rods for the longer stroke?.
