Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone had had any issues wiring up a tacho to a pertronix ignition?

The instructions for the Tacho only show senser wire connection to an ECU which mine doesn't have.

It's a n Auto Gauge Stepper Motor guage with recall... I have a pertronix ignition with a pertronix flamethrower HV 60,000 volt coil. I hooked the white sensor wire to neg side of coil but needle jumping round all over the place.

Anyone know whats needed? Thinking maybe a diode in sensor wire or something but keen to hear any advice!

Ok ... looking like 77mm = 1303.85cc might be safer option for me at this stage

Cant use A14 block cos it was >1340cc at original manufacture

Just wondered if anyone could tell me what cyl wall thickness was for A12 engine its a mid dizzy one I've seen 76.7 i think it said for some works nissan stuff.... but planning to go to 77.5mm for racing use ... any thoughts???
