looking at buying a 1976 1200 ute but i am just concerned if i will fit in it i am 16 and already 6 (foot) 1". my parent have an old 1997 holden combo and i just drive that around the paddock i am just wondering if the cab will be smaller or bigger than that. as well what about the tray how big is it can anyone give me a measurement for the length and width?
i want to buy a datsun my dad owned one and said he is not to keen as he remembers his datsun being very weak so i am just after some experience here how tuff are datsun crash wise? if they are weak can you fit a roll cage in the cab to protect the driver and front on collisions? just after experiences this will be my first car so i want some facts to weather it will be safe.
i am recently new to the datto's and looking at one for a first car i know my dad used to own one for his first can and he loved it. any way i am just posting to see what are the good and bad qualities of owning one. is the tray big enough to fit a motor bike in it? it is good to drive (cheap handling power)? what should i look out for when i am buying one e.g rust? also how quick are they all my mates a getting hilux's i am just curious how they would compare to them in performance? i have the web address of one that i might buy can you please tell me if this is a good buy and what should i ask the seller?
